From the recording When You Gave Your Son For Us All
This is a song about Gods amazing love. How He demonstrated His love by sending His only son to come and die for the sins of the world. When we were dead in sin and far from God He came and saved us.
Lyrics
It’s amazing how you
Can love someone like me
I was dead in my sins
When you came and saved me
Now Your Holy Word in my heart I have hid
To guide me each day in the way I should live
When I seek your face
You let me know that your near me
The truth of Your Word
Says that you’ll never leave me
The strength of your grace
Picks me up whenever I fall
Yeah, you said it best
When you gave your Son for us all
All day long I need you
To have control of my life
Help me be pleasing to you
And do what is right
When the Ole enemy try’s to influence me
Oh Lord may your Spirit rise up inside me
When I seek your face
You let me know that your near me
The truth of Your Word
Says that you’ll never leave me
The strength of your grace
Picks me up whenever I fall
Yeah, you said it best
When you gave your Son for us all
